You can already sign up for Google Analytics and place the code into the relevant theme files yourself or use a plugin such as this, so there is no immediate plan to build anything into the theme specifically.

Vantage is already has a responsive design and code which means that Vantage changes layout for optimal viewing on any device. Thanks.

But surely the business owners want have some information about the succes of their paid listings?

As mentioned, you can already sign up for Google Analytics, so it's not that you can't use it, it's just not built into the theme. Thanks.
