Mobile support? Paypal support?

Couldn't find if this has already been answered elsewhere, so sorry if I'm repeating existing questions.

Does Vantage support responsive themes for mobile and tablet displays?
Does Vantage include PayPal integration for premium listings?

Also I read elsewhere that Vantage is more designed as a niche directory theme, eg. eco-friendly businesses in Washington, or dance classes in London. I'm trying to find a good WordPress tool for a local business directory of all small businesses in my area, would Vantage be a good fit?

Currently Vantage is not a responsive theme, however we are aiming to have all of our themes responsive by the end of the year.

PayPal is the default payment gateway integrated into the Vantage theme, so is used for all price based listings. Outside of this, you can also purchase additional payment gateways from the AppThemes marketplace if you wish.

You define the categories in Vantage yourself, therefore the type of listings can be for whatever you need them to be, so yes it would be a suitable theme for the project you describe. You can find some examples in the AppThemes customer showcase for just some of the ways in which our customers are using the theme. Thanks.

Responsive Update and Child themes

Hi,

I noticed that Vantage and all your themes will be responsive by the end of this year, cross fingers, if so what happens to the child themes created.

Do they need to be changed?

Do the App Market developers know this?

Hi Tom, Our marketplace developers are certainly kept in the loop with regards to changes such as these, and will have the opportunity to test new versions with their products before they are released to ensure they can make any necessary changes needed to accommodate the theme changes. Like any other updates for our themes, if you have created a child theme yourself, then there may also be changes you need to make in order for everything to work correctly as well. So if anyone is already using a previous version of a theme + a child theme of their own, they should be backing up, and testing prior to simply updating the version also. Thanks.
