    More search fields?

    Hello guys,
a customers is looking for a classifieds software and loves your theme Classipress.
He deals with Horses of different kinds - Dressage, Millitary, Western, Hobby etc.
Now his question if it is possible to have more than ONE search term.
The people are allways searching for
    e.g. :
    1. Horse category
    2. Area
    3. Status of training
    4. Price

This coud not be done with just ONE search term. I guess that many of your potential buyers would like to see this.

In your demo there is just ONE term. Is it possible to specify a new added DB-Fields as search terms to have more then ONE?

    Best
    Jürgen

You can currently type in more than one search keyword in the main search field, but if you're talking more of an advanced search option this is not available in the existing version of ClassiPress. However, version 3.1 due out this month will include an enhanced search functionality which will enable you to add custom fields to the search as you describe.

Thank you so much. I´m very pleased with your answer and looking forward to a new release 3.1.
Is there any newsletter subscribing to receive a message when the new version comes?

    Hi Pepsi,
Today is the 23rd of June and I'm super-curious, when did finally come, the new search functions. Is there something new to report?

ClassiPress v3.1 is currently in the beta testing stage and the final release will be definitely released the last week of June.. so still on schedule. You'll be able to test out the new advanced search functionality once the demo is updated after the release :)
