Hi, I'm looking to purchase Apptheme's Classipress, but I'd like to highlight the blog and have a few questions:

1. Is it possible to move the "From the blog" section to the top, where the featured listings are? And wider too, about the width of the theme? Is there a plugin or something that can do this? Or even a slider for new posts?

2. Also, I need a little text box near the top of the screen (could it go where the "What are you looking for" search box is) large enough to fit 30 or 40 words. Can I insert a text widget up there?

3. Is it possible to remove the search bar and put text there?

4. About the blog can I have Category A,B,C, etc. listed across the horizontal navbar at the top or just "blog". Can I get the same drop-down multi-category options for the blog as for the categories?

Yes, all of the above can be accomplished with some custom coding. Sounds like the perfect opportunity to create a child theme and use our action hooks.
