Is it possible to run multiple plug ins at once ie. using multiport, grid, Advanced Custom Fields for ClassiPress, and authorize.net all at once, or can only one add on be enabled at any givin time?

Yes you can use multiple plugins at the same time, but please note that you have mentioned "grid" and "multiport" which are actually a child themes and not plugins. In the case of child themes, you can only use one at a time. Thanks.
