Niche specific

I have a list of companies (name, adres, tel). I want to build a nice specific website (so eg only barbers) and have them (automatically) categorised per city.

Is it possible to build niche specific websites with this theme?
So i want for example www.barbers.com/city/ and www.barbers.com/city/barbername1/ so i dont want events or other (for me) useless options.

Is this possible? and if yes, how?

If your site covers a specific genre, then it's relatively easy to just create the cities as categories to achieve what you describe. This site in the AppThemes customer showcase has done something similar. Events can easily be disabled from within the Vantage admin dashboard. Thanks.
