No Registration Required?

I'm really interested in ClassiPress. I'd like to use it as a FREE classifieds site. To build up my database of users, I need to make sure it is easy for everyone to post an ad. Does the system allow users to post an ad without registration? Like Kijji, if you provide only your email address, you can post an ad. Is this possible?

The out of the box version of ClassiPress requires users to register to post, however other members of the ClassiPress community have created their own mods for this..so these threads may be of interest to you:

This is really frustrating, I've been searching for 2 days now for a way to bypass registration and just make email a standard field in all "post"'s but cant find something.

The biggest classified sites on earth don't use registration because of the irritation it causes to new users. I need rid of this and the two tutorials posted don't seem to other anything at all that could be called satisfactory.

Must be SOMETHING! :P
