Does Classipress support Paypal IPN ?

It is not yet available, but is on the roadmap to hopefully be implemented in ClassiPress version 3.1 which is scheduled around September (not a confirmed date, but an estimate). As per the features page (scroll down to the "payment gateways" section), this is "Coming Soon" to those with Small Business Edition, Professional Edition, and Ultimate Edition licences..

Does this mean that the website owner has to manually verify payments for listings have been successful?
E.g. without IPN, you can not just sit on the beach while money comes rolling in? :-) ?

Hi Paul. No not at all, if a customer places an ad and makes payment via the Paypal prompts, the ad will publish automatically. So as long as they complete the payment transaction process then yes.. you can just watch the money roll in ;)
