Paypal members only?

Hi guys, I am close to purchasing classipress but need a little more info on the payment gateway. I understand Paypal is the payment option with classipress. Will customers need to have a Paypal account to make a payment or does classipress support credit card payments straight into a Paypal account without the customer having to be a Paypal member?

Also, does classipress allow for payment gateway plugins? In particular the eway plugin?

The credit card option depends on the "Selling Preferences" of your (the merchant's) PayPal account. However, it also depends on your location, as some countries are required by PayPal to have a PayPal account before making a transaction.

I'm not aware of anyone using that particular plugin, so could not confirm if it works. We do not officially support third party plugins, so

well Sam i think you should implement it and share the results here as well..... and thats right Pepsi but one thing is confusing me ... you said: so i assume that during customization and implementation of a third party plugin, you can provide some unofficially support :)

Let me put it this way, if you install a plugin that is not compatible with the theme, you shouldn't expect AppThemes to provide you with solutions to get it working. Likewise, if you make a customization and it "breaks" the theme, you shouldn't make expect for us to provide you with the code to fix the problem. Officially, we would suggest you restore the theme files to the default if such a thing happened.

Unofficially, you may find that occassionally members of our moderating team do assist with certain issues, but ultimately these kinds of questions are open to community based support only.
