On pending orders is it required that I mark"as paid" manually or is there a setting that allows the customer to post a listing immediately after purchase. Most job boards give immediate access to their service automatically. Thanks in advance for your reply.

If a customer completes the transaction and makes their purchase, then the ad will publish automatically. The only time it would go to "pending" would be if they have posted a free ad and you have required these to be moderated first, or, if they haven't completed payment.
