Plug in folder access

I have reviewed the admin demo for jobroller and a few of the other themes and do not see the plugin folder in admin.

I have two questions.

Is that view blocked only on the admin demo or is it the same on a licensed / purchased theme?

Can I use other wordpress plugins from the wordpress.org repository (I know you do not guarantee they will work) that I want to try?

That's correct, this screen is blocked for demo purposes only, but is there on a "normal" installation of the theme just like any other WordPress theme would have. Yes, you can certainly try the plugins you want to try, and as you've mentioned, not all are guaranteed to be compatible. Thanks.
