AppThemes does not officially support third party plugins, so we unfortunately cannot guarantee that all of them will definitely be compatible with our themes. As a result, it can be difficult to list off recommendations given the number of WordPress plugins there are available. The only plugins which we could say with certainty are compatible are those specifically designed for ClassiPress and are available in the
AppThemes marketplace. In the AppThemes marketplace you can also find a child theme for ClassiPress which specifically incorporates buddypress into it
here.
There is technically no maximum capacity of customers which WordPress can handle, however these considerations are mostly related to hosting. ClassiPress includes the PayPal payment gateway and a bank transfer option by default. Other gateways at this time would require customization on your part (some info in
this tutorial), however we are also making changes to payments in ClassiPress which will see other gateways available in the marketplace to be compatible in future. Currently they are only compatible with our Vantage theme.
At a glance you could look over the
theme description pages from both companies and essentially see a similar product when it comes to the purpose of the theme, so if you've done that and still can't see any difference yourself, then perhaps look at who is behind the products you want to buy. At AppThemes we have an
