    Pre sale & customisation questions

    Hi

I am very interested in your Hirebee theme, however after having a play with the demo and our requirements i would like to know about the following:

1: I will be using the theme for a slightly different use than what it was ultimately built for so I need to know if there is a way to disable the options for an hourly rate and just have the fixed term budget?

2: I only want users to be able to search for projects, is there a way of customising the search bar to only show projects and not freelancers?

3: When an employer registers they receive credits, why? especially if you do not select the option for both employers and freelancers to post and bid? Id this a bug or is this something that can be changed?

4: Can the emails sent be changed, for example email title and content?

5: Can you not charge for posting a project but still add paid options for featured and urgent? It appears that you have to tick the charge for projects option and even if you set a free option the email you get still says awaiting payment even though no payment is due?

6: How does the homepage work as it looks like although there is an option for a paid for homepage featured project, all new projects are posted on the homepage. Is there an option to just post featured projects, if not do featured projects supersede the non featured projects?

7: I will not be using any sub categories so is there an option or way to remove these from the add a project page?

8: I would like to rename the "skills" to "services". Is there a way to do this in the code so it shows up both in the backend and frontend?

9: Why does the widget titles disappear when you log out? Is this a bug and if so how do you solve it?

Sorry for the questions but really need to know if everything is possible before I buy. I am also very interested in your Taskerr theme but not had a chance to test this yet.

    Regards

    John

    In answer to your questions:

    1. Both options are there by default, so to remove from the options altogether would require some minor code modification on your part.
    2. This would also require customization as there is no option to disable it from the admin dashboard. Our themes are not encrypted, so you are free to make modifications if you wish.
    3. It's not a bug, it's how things are supposed to work. It's all about incentives, you can find more about credit plans on the theme information page.
    4. Not via the admin dashboard, but email content can be changed in the core theme files through customization.
    5. The "charge for projects" setting is what tells the theme to redirect the user to PayPal once the listing is being posted, you'll still need this even if the listing is free if you want to still charge for it being featured.
    6. Yes all listings are posted on the homepage, with newest at the top. Seeing it twice would become less of an issue once you have more listings. You can control the number of regular listings per page from within the admin but it can't be zero, unless modified.
    7. All categories and subcategories are set up by you, so yes you can choose not to use them if you wish.
    8. Yes, through modification.
    9. Not sure what you mean by this? In particular, you can't log out of the AppThemes demo site, so it's not clear how you saw this occur? Thanks.
