Hi, I'm interested in purchasing Vantage but I've just got a couple of questions:

I notice there are a number of posts about coordinates but none seem to be in the pre-sales forum. Is it possible to enter google map locations using lat/long rather than an address?

Is it possible to use Lao script? I can probably organise the translation myself but I just need to make sure the script is supported. I'm also trying to think what the best way would be to name entries as most locations would have both an english name and a Lao name, for example:

Sootchay Restaurant ຮ້າ​ນອາ​​ຫານ ສຸດ​ໃຈ

There's no easy way to directly translate the above so it needs to be entered manually. Would I need to display both in the same field or is there a way to switch to the alternate text if Lao is selected as the site language? I hope that makes sense...

From the front end, the user needs to enter in an address which then locates on the Google map, so by default it's not set up for lat/long info to be entered.

Translation files are used for our themes as explained on our languages page, however there is no language switching option. Whilst there are WordPress plugins for this purpose, currently we cannot guarantee they will definitely be compatible with our themes. You can read a little more about this here. Ultimately you would be looking at customization on your part for both of these items mentioned. Our themes are not encrypted, so you are free to make modifications if you wish. Thanks.

do I need to purchase a license

I recruited a developer from India to build a classified website, He has a multi site develope license.
He developed the site using classipress theme.
I am ready to publish the site
Do I need to purchase a license or not?. I do not do any more developing on the website myself, if I need something I recruit a developer.

Obviously we can't verify that the developer is an AppThemes customer with the limited information you have provided, however if he has purchased the license from us, we can confirm that our theme licenses do allow for developers to create sites for clients using our themes. To clarify, this does not automatically make the client an AppThemes customer which means you would not have access to theme support or updates from AppThemes. Thanks.

Language switchover shouldn't be too much of a problem at the moment.

The coordinates are the main issue though as addresses don't work in google maps for this country so coordinates are the only way to enter information accurately. Have previous users found a solution to this issue? I notice a number of other threads mentioning the same issue in the title, I just need to know if there's already a workaround I could implement if I go for Vantage.

I've done a search of the related forum threads and there does not appear to be any definitive information regarding whether or not a solution has been implemented for this. One person did mention custom coding to display the lat/long on a listing, but not the actual listing creation forum. On a related note, there are map plugins for Vantage as an alternative to Google maps here and here. Thanks.
