Pre-Sale Questions

I have some questions:

1) (a) How does Classipress handle multiple cities/countries? (b) Is there some kind of Geolocation feature to detect via IP the nearest city.

2) Is there a Google map that can plots all the listings?

3) Is the design, or can the design be responsive?


I have purchased Geotheme, and it does this, but I am liking the way Classipress looks and operates, if it had these features it would satisfy all the requirements I have for the project I am building.

Hi Jamie, in answer to your questions:

1) a) ClassiPress is not multi-region capable by default (like Craigslist), so listings are not specifically separated by location in that way, but you can use the advanced search functionality to search by location. Some customers have achieved a result similar to Craigslist by way of a WordPress multisite setup and some additional customization, so each region has its own subdomain.
b) No, there is nothing like that built into the theme

2) Again, not built into the theme, however this plugin available in the AppThemes marketplace may offer some of the functionality you are looking for?

3) ClassiPress v3.3 due for release soon will be responsive. Thanks.
