    pre sales

    hello,

could job roller be used in a photo intensive - model agency type website where users can look for jobs and upload a portfolio of images etc.

along with this, the ability of the site owner to monetize ie; get a fee for allowing the user to post or for agents to seek out models etc.

any thoughts on this would be appreciated.

By default, JobRoller allows a logo to be added to the listing, but there is no specific option for a gallery images to be added to the listing itself. You can create a custom form which allows .pdf or .doc file types to be uploaded to a listing. The resumes functionality found via the job seeker login allows for just one image to be added, but if users uploaded their images to another site they could simply link to it. The existing theme allows you to charge employers to place listings or to browse the resumes section. Version 1.7 of JobRoller is responsive, and this version is currently in beta testing phase and available to existing customers, but will be officially released very soon.

So, ultimately the theme offers some of what you are looking for, but if you want to allow for an actual gallery/portfolio of images to be uploaded either within a listing or in a file you may need to make additional modifications in order to allow it. You'll also want to take into account the existing file size of such images if you're planning to allow a lot of them to be uploaded. Thanks.

JobRoller v1.7 has now been released, so you can now see this version on the JobRoller demo site as linked from the main JobRoller theme page. You can allow html in job listings if you wish. Thanks.
