Pre Sales - inclusivne of Skye Child and woocommerce
Hello, It is easier for me to pose a scenario that requires an answer or explanation rather than me asking a direct question as I think it may be shorter!
I have already been through a nightmare with another very well know and well advertised classifieds theme. It's ugly and quite frankly setting it up is like organized chaos !!! an absolute nightmare even with the video tutorials in the admin. So I've ditched it to and thinking about using Classipress instead as it looks a lot more like professionally organized harmony!
Suppose I have purchased Classipress, for a pet rescue shelter and pet re-homing. and want to customize colors, Well I saw the Skye child theme, and notice that you can choose a color combination, This looks good to me. but can I change the hex color somewhere in a CSS file? with in Skye child theme, as I don't really like any of those colors as the fashion color trends in my country are quite different..
Next I notice that the skye demo is ok for woocommerce, does this mean I can now use the functions of woocommerce if I have it installed and have a fully functioning classified shop Blog and calssified theme ( classipress ) and all of the included features in each of these things working out of the box
Next I notice the plain background colors, Can I use an image back ground and sliders on the home page. or .gif animated images.
Also can I use a full width banner, and how do I use a larger logo. than the one that is shown in your demo classipress site. My logo is taller and much wider. It depicts the style of my site not just the title or business name as the majority of logos do, My logo affects the whole look and feel from first impressions.
I know my way around wordpress and woo commerce and most of the woo themes. I'm a regular woo customer, It may be of interest that I am a graphic designer, not a programmer or coder. This may help you answer my questions knowing what my capabilities are geared towards. Your theme looks great for my next client and project. So I'm hoping your theme will allow my creativity and design skills to shine for my client.
