    Pre-sales questions

    Hi,

Just a few questions about JobRoller...

    1) On the sidebar on the right, how easy is it to...
    a) add in the "browse by" box a "locations" field? (So Job searchers can select from cities.);
    b) add in the "browse by" box a "latest jobs" field; and
    c) remove the "tags" field?

    2) On the 2 column area of the home page how easy is it to remove the "latest jobs" field? (So, that ONLY featured jobs are shown on homepage.)

    3) How can "Job seekers" get jobs emailed to them?

    4) If I buy a version now, how easy is it to upgrade to a new version without disrupting the website?

    5) What is the price to upgrade later? For example, lets say I buy JobRoller now but want to upgrade later decide to upgrade to "AppThemes club developer", how much is the cost to upgrade?

    1. No default options on the city/location search yet and so it may require some form of customization. Currently, the location search uses radius as provided by google map API .

    2. Possible with modification to theme file.

    3. No feature on this yet but the next version might already include this. Jobroller version 1.4 is planned to be released before the end of this month. You can check the theme release status through this page WordPress Theme Release Status | AppThemes .

    4. Since jobroller is a wordrpess theme, updating can be done easily in the wordpress admin. Modifications to the theme however will not be carried over when you upgrade but the database settings will remain.

Just so that you are informed: Currently if you purchase any of our licences, they come with free lifetime updates. Please note though that we will soon be moving to an annual subscription model, so depending on when you choose to purchase, you may no longer have the free lifetime updates included.

If you are an existing customer with free updates when the annual subscription model comes into place, then you will continue to receive free lifetime updates based on your original purchase.
As quoted from this thread, http://forums.appthemes.com/how-can-...sipress-17126/ .
Please help our moderating team work more efficiently by not sending us support questions via PM. You can read more about how AppThemes support works here. However, you can send a PM to follow up and remind me if I missed your support request/thread.

Thank you and have a nice day.

    Please clarify billing..

Thank you for your reply. Can you be be any more specific about the pricing upgrade? I will be more specific about what it is I am considering doing... I would like to buy 'app themes club standard' and upgrade to 'app themes club developer' later. If you haven't moved to subscrition based billing by the time I want to upgrade, I assume that I would just need to pay the difference of $100 to upgrade, is that right? And, if you have moved to subscription billing after I buy the 'app themes club standard' what happens? As an existing customer, could I still pay the $100 difference, or would I have to pay some form of subscrition? Please clarify. Thank you in advance.

If you are an existing AppThemes Club Standard customer and haven't upgraded to the AppThemes Club Developer package before the Annual Subscription fee comes into place, then I believe at this stage you still only pay the difference in price to upgrade BUT, the .pdf files portion of the upgrade version will be subject to the annual subscription fee.

Basically ALL upgrades and new theme purchases made after the Annual Subscription model comes into place will be subject to the fee. It's only existing purchases made with free lifetime updates, which will continue to receive this. I hope this clarifies it for you. Thanks.
