Pre Sales Questions Classipress

I have a few critical considerations before buying Classipress

1. Payment gateway - I want to install local Philippine payment gateway to give my customers more flexibility because there are still a lot who dont use credit or debit cards. Is there an installation instruction or manual that a newbie like me can follow or comprehend or do I need to hire an expert to do the work. Maybe Jomark Osabel can help me with this question as he is also a Filipino and maybe familiar with Philippine payment gateway?

2. Featured listing

I believe there is a maximum number of ads that can be placed in the slider in homepage. What happens if I have more paying customers that what the slider allows. Let's say for example, it only allows 10 but I have 14 paying customers, what happens to the other 4? Will they be bumped off? Can a "schedule" be set for the posts?

3. If I buy plug ins from the Marketplace, e.g ClassiEstate will they still be usable if Classipress updates to a newer version?

In answer to your questions:

1. ClassiPress by default includes the PayPal payment gateway and a manual/bank transfer payment option. You can potentially add your own payment gateway, with some documentation which can be found here relating to this. You may wish to note though, that in the next major release of ClassiPress v3.3, there will be changes made to the payments functionality which will allow it the theme to be compatible with other payment gateway plugins available in the AppThemes marketplace.

2. There is actually no limit to the amount of featured listings that the slider will accept. You need a minimum of 5 for the slider to function correctly, however there is no maximum.

3. The Marketplace products are not all developed by AppThemes, however the developers of products such as ClassiEstate do work closely with our releases to ensure they are compatible. You can always check with them in their own specific section of the support forums before proceeding with any updates if you are not sure. Thanks.

When you say I can "potentially" create a payment gateway, do you mean it is not 100% sure that I can customize the payment gateway? The payment gateways in the marketplace unfortunately will not fully address my needs so I will have to purchase a local payment gateway.

I say "potentially" in the sense that you can do this if you have coding knowledge, but to clarify, AppThemes does not officially support customizations. So, if you purchase the theme and cannot create the payment gateway yourself, we would not be able to provide support for getting it to work. Thanks.

so its impossible to create a credit card payment gateway (not paypal) in classipress 3.2.1 ?
