Hi dear support Staff,


Brandon from Bluehost kindly referred your Theme to me. Hope he gets paid if I end up buying the theme.

Your ClassiPress Theme seems to have most of my needs, however I would like to ask a few qts before I finalize my decision. The qts are as below.


1. I see we have the countries globally. What about the global towns and cities? Is that in place too or do I have to add my own ? This would take forever. Any plugins?

2. In the Auto-Complete & Suggest Search – I did ‘Real Estate’ search - results, in the Demo version, I got was:
Search for 'Real Estate' returned 0 results Sorry, no listings were found. There are about 8 listings there, if I go and look at it manually.


3. What is the difference between - For standard and developer editions and for Club standard and developer editions. If I buy a standard version, can I add plugins widgets? make miner changes?

4. Is there a forum in the website for ClassiPress premium classified adv theme?

Hi Mumtaz, in answer to your questions:

1. By default, ClassiPress has the US States completed in the "States" field, however these can be updated/deleted with the field values you require. It is a comma separated list, and these can generally be found via a Google search pretty easily so it wouldn't really be necessary to use a plugin (not that I am aware of any specific plugins for this).

2. The first search bar is for keywords (not categories), and in this instance you would use the category search field on the right-hand side to search "Real Estate". This will return the correct results.

3. The difference between the two license type is that the developer edition includes the Photoshop .psd files. You can still make customizations and add plugins if you have the standard license.

4. There is no forum built into the theme (is this what you are asking?). Please feel free to clarify if you meant something else.

Thank you Pepsi, however I would like to clarify some of my qts and your reply.

re qt 1 - If the renter wants to put his/her house for rent, states the country from the site, but the State and city is not there, how can I have all the states, provices and cities of all the countires Globally? Google is useful when you are doing a search, but not for someone who wants to list their property in a certain city.

If I have to add it all my self this would take a very, very long time. Any solution to that?

ClassiPress does not include multi-region functionality in the way you describe, so whilst you could potentially create custom fields for every country (which is not ideal based on the amount of city/town data that would be involved), and you could have listings for every country all on one site, it would probably be better/tidier to look at a separate instance depending on location. What some of our customers have done is set up a WordPress multisite network, with subdomains for each country/location, with modifications made so that the relevant country is selected at the very beginning, hence directing the user to the relevant subdomain for their location.

No, there are no plans to add forum functionality to ClassiPress. This has been implemented by customers themselves using plugins, although to clarify, AppThemes does not officially support third party plugins and so we cannot guarantee that all such plugins will be compatible with our themes out of the box.
