Pricing Options for customers

Hi

There seems to be some answers of my queries on the forum, however I am not a customer (yet) and hence cant access the other forums, anyways I am still deciding whether this product will be able to assist me with my directory.

I have been through the demo & even browsed the documentation but could not find a definitive answer.

Basically I will be setting up a beauty (hair, makeup etc.) directory.

I want to charge people to list on the website & pay yearly.

I want three levels of membership, bronze, silver, gold (with gold being the highest, in terms of price & features offered).

Is this easily configurable ? I played around with the demo, but could not work it out.

Also, with regards to the search results, how are these prioritized, ideally I would like suppliers with gold status to appear first on the list after the search, thereafter, silver & finally bronze?

Finally, is there any maximum number of listings (average) that will start to slow down the system.

Look forward to your reply, its between Vantage & another script at the moment (I really like Vantage, I hope it can meet my requirements)

You can create pricing plans, and within plans you can determine if they include featured on homepage or category options, however separating into plan types as you have described isn't configurable within these. This would require customization on your part if you were looking to have it work more as outlined. You can choose the number of listings which display per page from within the WordPress admin dashboard. Thanks.

Another query which I am confused about or maybe I did not read properly.

If 100 customers sign up and select the option of paying extra to get listed on the homepage for thirty days, how does it differentiate & select which one's are displayed (example if we have it set to only show 10 results on the page ? ) Which from those hundred who signed up get displayed?

In the Vantage admin dashboard, you can set how you want featured listings to appear (Newest first, oldest first, or random). Thanks.
