    Questions About Your Product

    Hello,

I am looking to start a classifieds website and I have a few questions about your theme that I need addressed before I can decide if your product is right for me. Firstly, I'd like to say that I am not a programmer, and I am looking for a quick, user-friendly way to set up my website. I am currently in the process of learning HTML, CSS, and PHP, but I have a long way to go and want to launch my website now.

    1. My first question has to do with third-party plugins. I have had some problems integrating third-party plugins into my website while a purchased theme was installed, and I am curious about any insight you can give about the compatibility of your product with third-party products. ***Specifically, implementing a registration "whitelist/blacklist" is crucial to my website. I need to be able to control what @address.com's can register with me. I know there are third-party plugins that do this for WP and Joomla alike, but I am curious if that would work alongside with your theme.

    2. Secondly, I see many similar products advertised as "customizable," but I am wondering what sets your product apart from others in this regard. I need to be able to "break" page templates or even create my own. Is this possible with your theme?

    3. How often do you update your software?

I appreciate your time and consideration and I hope to hear from you shortly.

    Thanks

    In answer to your questions:

    1. AppThemes does not officially support third party plugins, so unfortunately we cannot guarantee that they will all be compatible with our themes. We do mention popular plugins used/tested to some extent here, and there are also plugins created especially for our themes sold in the AppThemes marketplace, although nothing specifically for what you describe.

    2. Our themes are not encrypted, so you are absolutely free to make modifications to them as you wish, in fact, we encourage it! You can find related documentation here.

    3. You can get some indication of this from our theme release status page, and the version history link on any of our product pages will give you actual release dates of versions for an idea also. Thanks.
