Questions as I am in the hunt for a business directory theme.

    Hello,
I am in the hunt for a business directory theme. Could you please help me with these questions below

Can you add advertising code/banner ads in the theme easily? If so how?

Is this a responsive design for smart phone and desktop?
    yes I think

Is there a max data amount that can be uploaded with the listings importer?

How do you dynamically change the url's,, title pages, etc. for all the business listings that I will load in if I don't want them to have the default? For example, I might want to have the address of the business in the url with the company name and not just the company name as you have it designed now.

Also can you remove the events portion if you don't need it?

Can you add a text box in the business listing. For example for hours of operations?

Can you remove the need to login to leave comments? If you just want people to leave comments more easily?

    Thank you!
    Jim

    In answer to your questions:

    1. Yes, there are advertising spaces configurable in the form of widgets as shown here on the Vantage admin demo (sidebar and ad banners). On a related note, there are more options also available in the form of optional add-ons available in the AppThemes marketplace such as Logic Widgets.

    2. Yes, the responsive design and code means that Vantage changes layout for optimal viewing on any device.

    3. Not so much in terms of listings, however as is noted on the import page there are geocode request limits which are related to Google which you can read more about here.

    4. You can change some of the URL information as per the permalinks settings page, but anything outside of that would essentially require customization on your part.

    5. Yes you can enable or disable events functionality from within the Vantage admin dashboard settings.

    6. Yes, you can create custom forms for listings if you wish, and this will allow you to add fields relevant to categories.

    7. By default, users are required to register before they can leave comments/reviews, so this too would require customization. Thanks.

The custom forms functionality allows you to add other fields to the listing page (including dropdown menus, check boxes, text areas, file upload etc as shown on the Vantage admin demo). The listing page itself looks the same as the defaul but with those extra fields included. Thanks.
