Questions regarding customisation of classipress

Im currently very interested in purchasing classipress for a new project im working on but have a few questions.

1) in the states drop down box is this editable from usa states to uk towns?
2) is there a plug in that will automatically re-size images to a specified size for advert listings
3) Are there any known browser incompatability problems between firefox and ie? a friend mentioned sometimes on his website picture uploading boxes are greyed out on ie and work fine on firefox meaning visitors can only upload one picture on ie and 4 on firefox.
4) Are there any special offers on purchasing the premium software at present?

1) Yes, you can change the field values from within the ClassiPress admin
2) I believe there are image size plugins such as this, but it's not one of the specifically recommended plugins, so not officially supported.
3) You can see for yourself if you check out the ClassiPress demo. There are some differences such as rounded corners don't show in IE, however this doesn't effect functionality.
4) The currently available promos are related to AppThemes translators and WordPress Hosting.

1) The State field appears to be locked for editing and greyed out highlighted as unable to delete and is a core component in classipress along with other fields.
2) Is this confimed as working with classipress by other users?
3) Is there ongoing support for users of the software should there be problems associated with both classipress and plug ins? For example if there was a site specific problem who would we contact to resolve and how would we go about it?

1) The "meta name" and "field description" are greyed out in the State field, but the "Field Name" and "Field Values" fields are absolutely editable. You wouldn't delete this field because if you really don't want to use any of the default fields, you can simply create a custom ad form and remove the field from the form altogether if you wish.
2) Yes it definitely is, I am also a ClassiPress user and I can confirm it myself.
3) All support for our themes comes in the form of these support forums. Customizations and third party plugins are not officially supported. You may use the forums to seek community support of those kinds of issues, but you should not expect AppThemes to resolve issues based on customizations you have made to the original theme or with plugins that are not compatible.

2) my friend still reports problems with the plug in - the images wont resize automatically upon upload

4) a new problem he has noticed is that when using ie the browse box for image two is missing and he is unable to select anything apart from the first image, on firefox it appears fine? why is this?

Your "friend" appears to not be using the latest version of ClassiPress, as the image upload box issue was a bug in a previous release. If they are having issues with their installation, I would suggest they log into our support forums and start a thread so our team can assist. We do not provide support outside of those sections of the forums.

an error has occured - upload limit exceeded

I have the same problem, i have installed the resizing plugin recommended in your post and it does not seem to work, i have also upgraded to the latest edition of wordpress according to dashboard and even tried re-installing.

State Not Deleting

Hello Can you pls write a short tutorial on how to delete the state option or Edit the states listed in it. I am from India and they have all the states of US. pls Help me Out. I will be very thankfull also its good if you paste screenshots.
