recurring payment???

why did a recurring payment get setup when i bought the theme? i thought i was buying a lifetime license. i don't want to pay for future support. whats the deal and why is this the default setup?

Just to clarify further,

You did bought a lifetime licence, the support and updates are for 12 months, after that period you will have to renew your subscriptions to continue receiving updates and have access to the support forum.If you need to cancel your subscription you can have a look at the paragraph 'How can I cancel my AppThemes subscription?' in the FAQ page.
