I don't actually intend to use this theme for classifieds (something similar), so wondered if it's possible to remove the 'Price' and 'Location' fields when posting a listing.

I've removed the fields, only the 'Posted' column has now shifted left and it looks cramped. How can I shift that column right so the ad heading can be longer?
I think you need to edit the css for that. Just find this code <span class="item"> and look for the width setting that you can adjust accordingly.
