SEO and Jobroller - Multi-category posting

    My question is simple:

Doing some research on wordpress blog SEO and they state you should always post in one category.

In this theme are you posting a job in different categories? or are they sub-categories? If you understand what I mean.

Take for example I am posting a new job and I post in freelance category and construction category. Does that mean I am double posting in both categories? Or is construction a sub-category of freelance

I just want to make sure I understand the structure of the theme before I purchase

Job Posts are only posted in one Job Category based on what categories you set it up in the wp-admin. Customers cannot post their job in multiple categories from the front end. Note though, that "Featured" is technically also a category, so if someone chooses to feature their ad it will go into this one automatically also (If this was a concern to you, you can obviously turn off the ability to feature ads), but I don't believe this would be an issue.

    multi category posting

Is it possible to post an advert to multiple categories?
So that these can show in filtered searches (I assume the search function gets the info from the categories(and not the fields))...example - a motorbike classified site: there is more than one category needed as a search filter...CC, area, price, etc. So is this done by category or creating a new dropdown field in the form (does the dropdown options from the form then get used in the search)
I am not sure whether classipress can function as a multiple category listing site

    Please help

This thread is related to the JobRoller theme, but as your question relates to classified ads I'll respond based on relevance to the ClassiPress theme. Users cannot post in multiple categories due to considerations with pricing (although it is possible for admin to set listings in multiple categories from the admin dashboard). The theme has a built in advanced search functionality though, so you can allow custom search fields based on custom fields you create on the ad listing form. You can see this on the ClassiPress demo site here. Thanks.
