I'm not sure which theme you are referring to specifically, however if you are meaning business listings in Vantage, the default URL layout would be more along the lines of:
example.com/listings/companyname
You can edit the base URL "listings" from within the Permalinks screen of the
wp-admin as seen
here on the Vantage admin demo.
Standard pages, however, do not use custom post types and hence do not use this additional part of the structure. Thanks.
