Sorting and Frontpage

Hi guys,

I looked at the admin demo and didn't find what I was after so two questions here:

1) Is there anyway to control the frontpage i.e. I'd want to have the full cat and sub-cat list on the front page under or above the featured links - is this possible?

2) Are there any sorting options for cat pages, at present the latest item gets placed to the the top but for most people browsing a directory A-Z is the most logical? Or at least give them an option via a dropdown or buttons.

Yes I'm impatient, I want to crack on! :)

1) You would not be able to do this without some customization. You could create a child theme to accomplish this.

2) This is not yet in the theme but should be in the future.
