Is there a plugin to limit the number of post replies per time period
Does anyone know of a plugin that will limit the number of replies to posts by guest or ip address in a specified time period. The reason I need this is because several times I have had a user register and then use his account as a spam gateway. I have had to resort to blocking ip ranges and even a complete country in some situations. I know Kijiji & Craigslist have a plugin that will not allow a guest to relpy to more than 10 ads per hour. I need something similar.
I have not seen this kind of plugin but it can definitely be implemented through custom coding using the ip as reference.

Thankyou for the quick reply. I was thinking the same myself but was hoping to take the lazy route by finding an existing plugin. However I will see if I can write a plugin for it so everyone can benefit.
