    Tying in Vantage with Buddypress

Basically I would like create a community site which would allow people to create a listing, put themselves on a map and then communicate with others in their area.

So I would need to integrate a communication structure - probably using Buddypress - that would allow them to interact with each other, form groups, etc. with Vantage

Also I would need people to be able to go to map of a city and see who's put themselves on the map

    Is this possible with Vantage?

AppThemes does not officially support third party plugins, so unfortunately we cannot guarantee that all plugins will definitely be compatible with our themes. I am aware that there are customers using Vantage who have mentioned also using Buddypress, but you should note that additional customization was required on their part in order for this to work and display correctly. Thanks.

That was underwhelming, honestly. You don't know if this would work, you don't know the degree the customization involved or where to go to get help (or find out) (ie. are there programmers who work with Vantage alot I could contact.)....

What I'm left with is that someone (whom I can't access on your Forums) somewhere has done something with Buddypress and Vantage...

It sounds like I have to buy it and try it out to see if it works.

Sorry if you're not satisfied with the response I gave, I'm just clarifying that we don't support plugins or customizations, so if you intend to use any plugin that doesn't work "out of the box" then essentially you're not going to be able to find official support to make it work. We do have a certified partners page where you can find developers for hire who are experienced at working with our themes, so if you wish to contact someone directly with an outline of your requirements, they can provide a quote for the work. Thanks.
