Hi,

I understand I cant use UK post codes. Would it be possible to have a custom field, I enter the UK 52 counties, the enduser selects one from a dropdown when posting an ad. Can another end user then search by that field? Could I have the drop down of county options next to the search. As classified ads really depend on location and where someone can travel to.

You can use UK post codes, and yes you can also create custom fields if you wish. ClassiPress has an advanced search functionality which allows you to search by location based or other custom fields and is seen in the category view sidebar as shown here on the demo site. Moving this to the main page would require customization on your part. Thanks.
