Update from 3.0.4 to the newest version of classipress

Hi
I just purchased a website that has classipress 3.0.4 installed.
Unfortunately i dont have the last owners login details to get into his account at appthemes.
So do i have to buy the newest version of classipress?
Or is there just an update i can purchase?
Also if i have to buy the newest version and make a clean install all old settings would be lost, right?

In order to gain access to theme updates and support you would need to purchase your own ClassiPress licence as per our pricing page. If your existing site has been modified then yes you should expect to lose customizations in the process of an upgrade. If not, then it's relatively straight forward. Thanks.
