URL Field

It doesn't look like url is a standard field or available as a custom field. However in the admin site when I look under the "ads" I see a field called "cp_adURL"

I would imagine that I could use the text field and give it a value of "http://" , but if html is turned off would this create an active link?

I have an existing classified ads site and my users typically like to link to their own website, so I just want to make sure that a url field is a custom option?

The url field is a custom field and so it would still work even if the html is turned off.
