Using ClassiPress as a Bulletin Board?

We're a non-profit organization (dedicated to Heritage Conservation) who need a web-site to act as a bulletin board for our members (and others?) to post notices of building materials, fixtures, fittings, appliances, furniture, etc. of interest to owners of Heritage properties.
We need a place for people to post details such as:

4 wooden window frames (80" x 55") with original 'wavy' glass (see attached photographs)
Available for pick up in Anytown.
    Call 604-123-4567 or e-mail mary.smith@home.com.

Payment transactions - if any - will be arranged privately. We were wondering whether ClassiPress would be appropriate for such a simple requirement.

    Thanks

Yes, it would work perfectly for the example you have given. Have you checked out the demo so you can see for yourself how it works? http://wpclassipress.com/demo/

So, to be clear, anyone could post their ad.?
    Is a moderator required to pre-screen ad.s?

They have to register first, but yes, anyone can post ads. You can choose whether or not to allow ads to publish immediately or to be approved first. Are you planning to charge people to post their ads?
