The category drop-down is built into the Vantage (and ClassiPress) theme and unfortunately is not offered is a separate plugin. I'm not personally aware of any plugins specifically for this either. You could potentially hire someone to create a custom plugin for you if you have had no success finding an existing one, and although AppThemes does not offer these services, we do have a
