AppThemes does not officially support third party plugins, so we cannot guarantee that these would work directly out of the box. From searching the forums there are customers who have mentioned using BuddyPress with Vantage, however it appears some modifications may be required (not specifically mentioned, sorry).
You may wish to note that one of the
AppThemes marketplace developers has created a child theme for ClassiPress that adds BuddyPress and BBPress functionality
here, and he has mentioned creating a child theme for Vantage also which is currently not yet available for purchase in the marketplace. You may like to communicate with him via that page about the other child theme as I believe he may sell it directly at this time. Thanks.
