Vantage geo search questions
How do you control scale on the distance slider of Vantage. I will have a worldwide directory and in come countries, like Russia for example, I might want it to go a thousand miles, while in NY only 25 miles.
Also, when keying in a city, country in the search field, just how comprehensive a database are you using (if that' show you are doing it). I assume that you lookup the geo coordinates from city names and calculate the distance to the listing entries. I've seen these databases before and when the whole world is included it can get to be quite gigantic.
