We are building a new WP site that will feature events and a business directory. However on the directory, we would like to show business information differently on 'public' pages than on 'businesses' page. So 'public' may show name, icon/logo, phone, address, and URL, but 'businesses' listing may show all that plus description of store, email, hours, etc.

So one listing in back-end, but 2 pages show different fields from the listing

Got anything you can show me that a customer has done with Vantage like that?

Also be good if events and directory could be linked.

I'm not aware of any existing sites which have done this, and it certainly would require customization on your part if you were looking to make the relevant changes. Vantage is not encrypted, so you are free to make modifications if you wish.
