Hi John,
1) There is no option within the Vantage admin which would allow you to switch to a grid view, so this would currently require customization of the theme on your part.
2) Vantage does not include a filter which allows you to sort listings on the main homepage, however as you can see here from the
Vantage demo, if you complete a search you will then see the "Refine Search" in the sidebar which allows you to sort by highest rating, closest or alphabetical.
3) There is no specific function which makes listings appear by area, but of course when a listing is made, the "Near" search will search for the location, with the distance slider also visible in the "Refine Search" field as mentioned above.
4) Yes, you can set your Vantage admin for the UK location and search for UK towns.
5) We were recently notified of some issues specifically with the UK post code, so our team have provided a fix for this in our support forums for now, and it will be included in the next release of Vantage. Details of this is explained in
this pre-sales thread.
6) You can add custom fields using the
custom form builder in Vantage, but unfortunately at this time, those custom fields are not searchable. Appthemes does not officially support third party plugins, so we cannot guarantee 100% compatibility of all plugins with our themes.
