Vantage theme ever coming out?

I know that we can track the progress but for 5-6 months now it has been in development. Is Vantage theme on a serious timeline or no?

As of August 17, 2011, Vantage is already at 60 percent based on the Theme Release Status page. The dev team is definitely working for its completion; Vantage Update and Other News | AppThemes .

I'm holding out and waiting for Vantage.

My plan is to have a custom blog and then a directory behind it. I would like
everything to match and not look like a add on.

Does anyone know if it is possible when Vantage comes out that it will contain
a child theme where you can change the look?

Also, is it easy or hard to change the theme look? For example, if I bought Vantage,
and let's just say I want my blog to look like example: Huffington Post. Is it possible
to css to look like it through out the whole site? Or basically what you buy is what
you get and don't change it.

I'm hoping someone here how has worked with other themes (Classipress, Job Roller,
Clipper) can comment. I think app theme will kind of setup vantage the same way.
Just a guess.

Also if it is possible, how much do you think it would cost to pay someone to change
the look of the theme?

i was going to ask the same question... waiting , waiting and waiting ...............

Vantage is set to be released in the next couple of weeks. Its been well over a year wait since announced and seems lke we are close to getting it soon.
Hope they deliver on promise.
