View listings by location

I am looking to create a local services listing and would like my visitors to be able to sort the listings by location or town. Is this possible within your framework?

The theme includes an advanced search functionality which allows users to search by custom fields including location information as shown on the ClassiPress demo site. By default this is only visible in the category view sidebar. Thanks.

Interesting, so is there a way to change from the default, ie display the advanced search functionality somewhere else so people can select a location from the home page ot a results page for instance? Because the problem is that when you search for a term without selecting a category, then there is no advanced search functionality showing up on the results page, and then the user cannot filter by locations....
