    webhost prior to purchase

    do you absolutely have to be subscribed to a webhost (i.e. hostgator) prior purchasing classipress?

    Technically you can of course purchase the theme without hosting, but you need to have an installation of WordPress on your own host account in order to use/install the theme. For example, you will not be able to install ClassiPress on one of the free WordPress.com blog accounts..
