    Weblinks in adverts

I am somewhat confused on whether I can insert a link into an advert to go to another web page. Most other questions and answers seem to say you must be registered etc and in spite of access now to the whole forum I remain confused. This is a big hold back to a purchase.

So in simple terms, can each advert, in the detail of the product or service carry a link, without having to have a special bit of html or similar learning that a lay person would struggle with AND can I disable the email link.

This can be done in two ways without having to tinker with codes. First, it can be done with a custom field where users can input the URL and of which will be displayed on the ad. Second, you can enable HTML in the description area so that users can post a live link.

Can you elaborate further about "can I disable the email link" as I don't see any feature in the theme that displays the user emails in the ads.

Please help our moderating team work more efficiently by not sending us support questions via PM. You can read more about how AppThemes support works here. However, you can send a PM to follow up and remind me if I missed your support request/thread.

Thank you and have a nice day.

Good news! And many thanks for your reply

This was about the 'map contact poster' bit - I am presuming (always dangerous) that this does not have to be shown

One other quick and probably obvious question - can the administrator change the contents of an advert once it is posted and remove illegal or non compliant stuff

Yes, the administrator can modify or delete ads through the admin panel.

The map - Contact- Poster boxes

Can you just confirm that these do not have to be shown. I would like to rely on a weblink in the text
