I want to get a widget to work next to the main controls in the " my dashboard "

are the main controls that are there at the moment widgets as well ?

I have been looking in the widget controls and there does not seem to be a widget to allow me to add additional tabs into the main structure of the controls in
the " my dashboard area "

Does this need to be a modification of the plugin to tell it to ad the widget in the middle of the site or a customization of the jobroller theme ?

surely you have built a simple feature to let u ad new tabs to the my dashboard area of the site so then its a question of telling the widget to go there instead?

If you look at the JobRoller admin demo, you can see down the right-hand side that there are widget areas specifically for different areas of the theme (i.e. Main sidebar, blog sidebar, page sidebar etc etc). So yes, the widgets are for the sidebar not the tabs in the middle of the page, that would require customization on your part if you wished to change those. Thanks.

Where may we find a hook to allow us to add more functionality for a plugin to add
Another tab in the " my dashboard " in the middle area ?

Our developer has looked and in the hook section of your site it's not listed

This hook was promised for JobRoller 1.7 version but we can't find it ?
