How to only display coupons where type is 'coupon-code'

I've got the Clipper theme set-up with the Rakuten LinkShare Coupons plug-in enabled. I'm using the old API method and I am able to successfully import coupons from Rakuten.

I would like my Clipper site to only display coupons where the coupon type is "coupon-code." In other words I only want to display actual coupons and not links where no coupon is required.

Is there any way to automatically or by default only display coupons that have a type of "coupon-code"? I can go into the Dashboard and manually remove any that are not, but that kind of defeats the automated nature of the importing.

    Thanks.
