404 (Page Not Found) Error

Please note that for some reason when my permalinks were set to http://afrocomplete.com/sample-post/ I could not view my catagories and the site was ust misbehaving. I then change my permalinks to the default http://afrocomplete.com/?p=123 and everything works fine except that after a user logs in it tries to access http://afrocomplete.com/dashboard/ and returns 404 (Page Not Found) Error. How can i fix this so that after the user logs in it takes them to their dashboard. If you try to access the dashboard using "Manage my Ads" menu it works fine. Looks like I need to get the site to point to the correct permlink for when the user logs in?
