    Ad Expires but keep published

Given that google and other search engines downgrade your rank when you have missing/unfound URLs, what should I do when a ad expires? I've turned off the auto prune ad function but if a customer clicks on the "pause" button in their dashboard, then the ad will still go to draft.

As of now, the ad is paused and goes to draft meaning that if someone or google looked for that particular ad it would show not found.

Is there anyway to have the ad paused but remain published?

    Thanks!
