All New Apps On Hold While we Fix ClassiPress
Well. It seems to me that what started out as a great new company has gone the way of every other. Expanding the product range without the capability to deliver anywhere close to target, leading to the demise of what was once a flagship in the world of
WP App-orientated themes.
I remember the day I sent words of praise to David, and seeing it among their customer testimonials. How impressed I was.
By now, ClassiPress could be second to none and easily adaptable to other uses. Instead, it is in such a state that if I was a first time buyer now, I would be requesting a refund, not giving praise.
It seems to me that the only ethical move would be to announce a hold on other app development while ClassiPress is returned to production quality.
The irony is, that the new apps in development now, consequentially, already come with a buyer beware label.
So sad. So infuriating. Yet so common. Everyone wants to expand and add lights to their name. Nobody wants to consolidate and do one small thing really well.
Someone should fork ClassiPress. Fix the bugs. Aggregate the JavaScript. Then sell it. Its GPL, so you are free to do it, and the way I feel right now, AppThemes would deserve the loss.
