Background image & category dropdown not working in different browsers...

Hi guys,

I managed to change the background of my ClassiPress site ( http://www.tremblant360.com/classifieds/ ) by taking my background image and slicing it horizontally in several places... then changing the header images in my red-black.css file to each slice of my background image.

It works perfectly in Safari, without any breaks in the image. But in IE and Firefox, there's a horizontal white line across the page just below the menu bar... does anyone know what would be causing this, or how to get rid of the gap in IE & Firefox?

Also, strangely, the "Categories" link in the menu bar works in Safari and Firefox and all the categories appear when you click on the link, however, clicking on the link in IE doesn't bring up the categories anymore. Why would the categories respond in Safari and Firefox, but not IE?
